Six days after launch, I'm in awe of how many of you have downloaded (and donated) for Bake Off's initial alpha version. Here are my design notes after initial 2 playtest runs and the future development of Bake Off.

Playtests

The initial design for Bake Off has been proven to be solid and hilarious. The turn order needs refinement, but I was able to print-and-play a version for 

With 2 different groups of 3 or 4 Bakers, my initial playtests revealed that several of the judging aspects are in need of rethinking. It's still a playable version, but both the Judges Sweet Spots and the Host rating on Baker types don't work in the Alpha format.

Future Development

The following sections are being re-worked for v1:

2. Bakers use of Sweet Spot tables
3. Recipe Kudos awarded for recipe description based on Baker Type
4. Host Aid optional rule
